There are so many weddings from this past few months that we haven't had the opportunity to blog yet and wanted to take time to share some with you over the coming weeks. Many of you are in the midst of planning your weddings for 2009 - and I just love so many of the unique ideas that couples create along with the help of some incredible wedding planners and event designers. On October 4th, Karen and Jeff tied the knot up in Beaver Creek, Colorado and it was an incredible event. While the rain did decide to show up for party as well, it didn't stop Karen and Jeff from having a blast. Both from Chicago, their wedding was a destination event for all of their guests and it was quite the party for all those that made the trip. Karen getting ready...
The girls arriving at the church prior to the ceremony...thank goodness for golf umbrellas.
Matt captured one of my favorite images of the day with Karen waiting in the stairwell by herself just moments before the ceremony began.
I love how happy Jeff was when he saw Karen for the first time.
Celebrating with everyone following the ceremony.
While the sun didn't shine much, it did give us 15 minute courtesy breakthrough of pretty light to grab a few shots of Karen and Jeff in Vail Village prior to heading to the reception.
The reception was held at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail. Heather Allen of Table 6 Productions did an amazing job planning all of the details of the event.
Hope you are all having a great weekend!! Jenna |
