Hope you are all doing great!  Today marks one month since Story Rose entered our life - and we are loving it! I can't wait to post more photos of her - hopefully this weekend!  But today, I wanted to continue on my mission to rewind to this past summer by featuring Meg & Jay's wedding.  

Meg and Jay met several summers ago as raft guides on the Arkansas River.  They absolutely love the outdoors and their ability to laugh nonstop is just contagious to be around.  Jay is hysterical and Meg is so energetic - we just love them!  Their wedding was held outside of Boulder, Colo. at the Greenbriar Inn - and it was a reunion of famiy from the South to raft guides and outdoor enthusiasts from across the country.

Prior to heading to the ceremony, Meg and her parents took some time to grab a few shots together...but in between shots - Matt captured Meg's dad waiting in the background.  

Meg was beautiful and radiating happiness the entire day.  

Who says you can't write your toast while taking photos?  

Meg and her dad wait patiently to walk down the aisle to see Jay for the first time.  

Of course, being the outdoor enthusiasts that they are...we had to head out into nature for just a bit.

We are so excited to introduce Matt & Jenna's beautiful baby girl - Story Rose Walker.  She came into the world healthy and happy on Friday, January 30 at 10:34 a.m. weighing 7 lb 14 oz and 20.5 inches long.  I can't even begin to relate how pure and deep their love is for Story.

 A note from the new family:

There are no words to describe the absolute happiness that has completely overfilled our hearts since Story arrived.   We feel so incredibly blessed and fortunate to have her and know that our lives are forever enriched by her.   We are so incredibly grateful to all of our family, friends and many clients who have sent us so many well wishes.  We can't wait for you to meet her.   

As photographers, it is so important that we capture the spirit of life's absolute greatest experiences.  They are so fleeting and I know this is one of our life experiences I never want to forget.  Not a bit of it.  Life is so amazing.  It is miraculous.  I think we've always known that.   But since Friday at 10:34am, we know this for sure.
