This morning, Matt and I are working from my parent's house in Minnesota - and we started reflecting on what an incredible summer it has been.  Life continues to give us so much - and allows us such amazing opportunities to meet incredible people.  We talked about how it has been ages sinces we've been able to spend enough time to sufficiently share the stories of our clients.  So - with several cups of coffee, sleeping pugs by our side, and lots of drifting through music and photos - we took a walk through the months of June and July to share with you some of the wedding stories of our cients we've covered over the past few months.  

While fall is quickly closing in on us - we wanted to take some time to show our gratitude and deep respect for each of you.  Thank you for celebrating with us.

Denver was due for a good dose of rain. Alyson was due for a hair appointment - or so she thought. Turns out the hair appointment would come. and so would the rain. And plenty of it.

All of this just in time for Alyson & Daniel's engagement session. I love a good pair of free spirits and these two certainly fit the part - they were so eager to play in the rain and let the night take its course...without notice to wet clothes or soggy hair. The best!

When Julie first approached me about doing a portrait shoot for she and her husband Andy, I was certainly excited. BUT this was without knowing the full story. Turns out, they were hoping to get back into their WEDDING clothes for a day-after shoot of sorts...one year later. Call it bad luck or an unfortunate accident, Julie and Andy have very few images from their Michigan wedding. Despite all of that, Julie and Andy are such a gracious and beautiful couple - and nothing seemed to stop them from having a good time.  So that we did.

This is what I love about Colorado...you never know who you'll run into out on the trails!

Julie never thought she'd be getting back into her dress again - but I think we can all agree that she is nothing short of stunning.
