A sort of classic elegance radiates from Laura & Peter - they are kind, warm and playful people with a type of grace you cannot help but feel welcomed by. Their Denver wedding this past June was just that. Consider it a grander version of the type of dinner party you'd like to host - where the light dances through the trees in one of those perfect moments, surrounded by your favorite people sipping on perfectly chilled white wine and joking about vacations past as you play with rose petals in the grass between your toes. This would all make sense - seeing as Laura and Peter are a class act when it comes to dining. A restauranteur meets sommelier - these two turned the Phipps Mansion into grounds for a shared meal worth remembering - not without the help, of course, by Jessica Adler - one of Denver's best and kind-hearted wedding planners.

Lane and Elaina were married this past July at Lonehawk Farm outside of Boulder.  At the time of their wedding, I had been spending a bit of time online at night researching the region of Tuscany in Italy for some dreamy trip someday with Matt and Story...and when we arrived at Lonehawk Farm for Lane & Elaina's wedding - well...I couldn't help but think that this was their own little slice of Tuscany.  Lonehawk Farm is a working farm and it is BEAUTIFUL.  Both Lane and Elaina love to spend time in the outdoors - so I don't think they could have picked a better spot for thier completely beautiful ceremony and wedding. From the roosters to old gates dripping in vines - it was such a great place to be.  Lane and Elaina are kind beyond measure.  Lane is so dang funny - and he'll have you in stitches all day long.  And Elaina and I bonded over the fact that both of our husbands tried so hard to foster a love of river kayaking in us - but at the end of the day...well - let's just say Elaina is far braver than me!

And those amazing flowers were done by Elaina's cousin Lara who owns Fiori in Boulder.  She has such a gift!

Happy Monday Y'all! Newlyweds Andrew & Sarah are off to Greece this morning after a phenomenal Beaver Creek wedding - unfortunately they didn't buy my appeal for honeymoon coverage so I will be staying put in Denver (better luck next time!). I can't wait to share their wedding story with you - but in the meantime, check out the ranch-style welcome they gave their guests the eve before the wedding. There was no shortage of honky-tonk fun at Lazy-J Ranch on Friday - with guests throwin' down their best games of horse-shoe, tossin' lasso and ridin' the ole mechanical bull - heck, they even got around to shootin' guns.

Lazy-J Ranch is a {s.t.u.n.n.i.n.g.} spot for a Vail wedding - or of course a welcome party. I could have stayed at their party all night! The very talented Ann & Lauren of Nancy Chase Weddings are the leading ladies behind all the stellar details of the weekend. Andrew & Sarah - congratulations on the adventure ahead...you two are so much fun!
