Every single time I photograph a wedding – I am AMAZED by the dresses.   And how the designers continue to come up with unique gowns – be it classy, flirty, fun…you name it – it’s just an insane talent to be able to work with fabric.    We absolutely love the girls over at Anna Be and I received a note from them the other day about their upcoming trunk shows and wanted to share it with you.  These are a super fun way to dress shop – and I know many of you that we are photographing next year have yet to get your gowns – so you’ll have to check it out!    I’m not sure I really knew what a trunk show was for the longest time – but basically…they are the latest, greatest and widest selection of a designer all in one place at one time.

If you are able to join us for a trunk show, you are in a for a treat. A trunk show is your chance to view the latest collection by a designer and often be one of the first to see and buy these gowns! Plus, we make it fun with special goodies and a purchase incentive for the featured designer. Here’s a couple of tips to help make the most of your appointment:

1. Book Early! Trunk shows always book out so if there is a designer that is a MUST for you give us a call today and we’ll get you scheduled right away.

2. Do Your Research: Familiarize yourself with the designer and make sure it’s realistic for your budget and your style! And if you have any specific dresses that you are dying to try on, let us know as far in advance as possible. We can’t accommodate every request, but we can certainly try.

3. Rally Your Team. If you need mom’s blessing before buying, bring her or plan to email her pictures during the appointment. Trunk show gowns are only here during the event, so it’s important that if it’s going to be a group decision, the whole group comes to the appointment.

4. Have Fun! We love dresses and can’t wait to play dress up with you! We’re here to be your support team so if you want our advice or our opinions, we’re here for you to make it fun, fabulous, and stress-free.
