Sometimes, you have to make it personal. really personal. In planning for SUBSTANCE, we wanted to do just that – get beyond the technical and the powerpoint (the latter being a necessary evil?!) and get to the core of what makes us tick. Surely, one must master their camera, refine their organizational skills and so on – but beyond that, what matters most is remembering, at the end of the day – what makes. you. tick. Here is but one conversation point we’ve pulled from our talk: “5 years, 500 lessons.”
“Bring energy to everything you do. Real energy. Real interest. For whatever you put in – you will surely get out. Exactly. That. Be a day-maker. Be a joy-maker. Show them how to be their best – and from that you will get your best. art. ever.”
A special thanks to our sponsors who are making this happen: ProPhoto Rental, Pictage, ShootQ, Colorado Volkswagen club, Colorado Chatauqua Association, Marie James dress boutique, anna be Bridal Boutique, Rachel Hagen at Talia Events, Makeup by Janine, models from Wilhelmina Denver, and floral by Crystal Oleskevich, and our clients and friends who have stepped up to the plate in modeling – getting behind our cameras one more time…thank you!
And finally to the Rio mexican restaurant – your divine margaritas will surely be welcomed come 9 pm on Saturday night – as we celebrate as a group in having pushed each other and exhausted ourselves in that very best kind of way. if you’re in boulder, come say hello!
