Beautiful couple - inside & out. acupuncturist meets photographer. creativity and wit all wrapped into one. genuine. welcomed honesty. That's Deb & Shelby for ya. After all the phone calls and emails we exchanged, it's great to finally see the essence of this New York couple in motion. I am in awe of their certainty of their own dreams and their persistence to always find passion in their life's work. On Saturday, they will mark a new beginning celebrating just that.

The season is here. BBQ opportunities abound. And plenty o' opportunities to run around barefoot. Not sure it gets much better!

Julie & Brett made their own mark on what an engagement shoot is all about. They are so much fun! They are getting married next SATURDAY (woohoo!) at Pastures of Plenty - an organic farm outside of Boulder. Can't imagine there will be too great a shortage of barefoot and fancy-free fun there.

Here's to the exciting season of summer weddings and summer fun to come.

Spring skiing. It's the Colorado tradition that keeps on, despite front-range temptations for picnics, mountain biking and warm sunny days in the park. I was lucky enough to join Nancy & Nate for their engagement shoot on one of those classic spring skiing days. Blue skies. Slushy snow. And a whole lotta frolicking. Nate & Nancy, however, have a tradition of their own that will always keep Breckenridge ski resort near and dear to their heart: Nate proposed on top of the mountain.

We had a blast returning to their celebrated stomping grounds. There was no shortage of fun...or formal wear for that matter. We met that morning at the gondola. Fully expecting them to arrive in their ski garb, I was delightfully surprised by their choice to 'keep it classy' on the mountain. Think James Bond meets Dior. Now that is something I'll aspire to next time I set out for the mountain! 

Nate & Nancy are getting married this January in Houston. Here's a lil' tale from the day...
